We do not collect any data.

iTrans is a completely local application. Your files, settings, and usage remain entirely on your Mac. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any information about you, your files, or how you use the app.

This is a simple privacy policy for a simple app: you own your data, period.

1. What Data We Collect

None.

iTrans does not collect any personal information, usage data, crash reports, analytics, or telemetry. We do not:

• Track your activity or file transfers
• Collect crash logs or diagnostic data
• Use analytics or telemetry services
• Access your Photos app or iCloud library
• Store your photos or videos on any server
• Monitor how you use the app
• Collect any information about your device or usage patterns

All file transfers occur directly between your iPhone and Mac. Your media files never leave your devices.

2. How We Use Your Data

Since we collect no data, we have nothing to use, analyze, or process.

3. App Permissions

iTrans requires minimal permissions on your Mac:

• iPhone Connection: Access to your connected iPhone to read files
• Filesystem Access: Ability to write files to folders you select

What we don't access:

• Your Photos app or library
• iCloud or cloud storage services
• Any other apps or data on your Mac
• Network or internet (except for your direct iPhone-Mac connection)

4. How Your Files Are Handled

• Files transfer directly from your iPhone to your Mac—nowhere else
• You choose exactly where files are saved
• Once transferred, files are yours alone
• No copies, backups, or uploads to any server
• No cloud sync, no library management, no third-party access

5. Third-Party Code

iTrans uses open-source libraries only for core functionality (UI, file handling, etc.). None of these libraries collect, transmit, or process your data.

We do not use:

• Analytics or telemetry services
• Advertising libraries
• Tracking or surveillance software
• Cloud services or APIs
• Crash reporting (automatic or manual)

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if legal requirements change. Any material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
